We are getting ready for an egg-stra special Easter at Belfast Zoo on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 April.
Families can follow a fun Easter trail around the zoo to find out more about our newest additions, bunnies and which animals lay eggs. All completed trails will be entered into a prize draw to win ‘zooper’ prizes.
While you and your little monkeys get busy with our Easter trail, walkabout characters will be popping up around the zoo to pose for photos and make little faces smile.
Kids can hop over to our fantastic outdoors playpark. Located beside the lake, with stunning views looking up to the peak of Cave Hill, this is the perfect spot for all the family to rest and play during a wild day out exploring the zoo.
Our indoor café, the Lion’s Den, will be open and roaring to go every day over the Easter break. With kids’ meal deals, freshly prepared sandwiches and salads as well as a range of hot meals, they have everything to ward off the hungriest of bears. Snacks, ice cream and hot drinks are also available at Treetops Tearoom and the ice cream kiosk located beside the lake. Plenty to refuel you after a day's exploring.
Strike a pose at our photography basecamp for a special memento and pick up a perfect present in the Zoovenir Shop.
Enjoy seeing 110 species of animals including our baby Rothchild’s giraffe, tiny twin cotton top tamarins and baby colobus monkey.
To help you hatch your plan to visit, there will be a shuttles buses from Valley Leisure Centre carpark, with accessible seating.
