    Car park charges

On 2 April 2024, we changed to RingGo for cashless parking.

When using our charged car parks, you should download the RingGo app or register online at the RingGo website (link opens in new window). This allows payment for parking with a credit or debit card, rather than cash. For cashless car park queries, call RingGo on 0203 046 0010.

You can also opt out of SMS notifications on the RingGo app so as not to incur charges. Find out how to opt out (link opens in new window). Contactless payments are available in these car parks:

    • Little Victoria Street
    • Hope Street
    • Smithfield Car Park

All charged car parks (except Corporation Square, Corporation Street and Smithfield) are open and free to use outside of charged hours.

You can still pay with cash at all the machines in our charged car parks.

    Off-street parking enforcement

Marston Holdings Ltd is responsible for enforcement in our car parks. You will notice:

    • the traffic attendants wear blue uniforms, not red
    • Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) issued are different in appearance from PCNs issued previously
    • failure to pay a car parking fine could lead to your car being clamped.

Traffic attendants with body worn cameras

From 1 December 2024, the traffic attendants working in our car parks wear cameras on their uniforms. The cameras can record video and sound. A traffic attendant will only record a situation if they feel a recording will help their safety. Before a traffic attendant begins recording, they will announce this. They need to press a button to start and stop recording.

Traffic attendants are not able to watch or edit a recording. The recordings are kept for 45 days unless there is a lawful need to store for longer.

To read the full privacy notice, go to Marston Holdings Ltd (link opens in new window).
