Easter collections

Bin collections due on Easter Monday (6 April) will be collected on Saturday 4 April. If your bin does not get collected on the rescheduled date, please leave it out until it is collected.

Bin collections due on Tuesday 7 April will take place as normal.

Advice about collections

• Put your bins and boxes out by 7am on your collection day, and bring them in again by 7pm.
• Make sure lids are fully closed.
• Don't leave extra bin bags beside your bin.

Commercial waste collections took place as normal on St Patrick's Day (Tuesday 17 March 2026).

Our night-time noise service will be closed on Easter Sunday (5 April 2026) and Easter Monday (6 April 2026).

Over the Easter period our imported food service for trade arriving from GB ports will operate as normal.

For ship sanitation certificates, checks on container freight from rest of world, and for shipping or other port health queries, our service will be closed on Monday 6 April 2026 and Tuesday 7 April 2026. This service will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 8 April 2026.
