The Fintech Support Programme offers a variety of initiatives aimed at fostering the growth and development of Fintech start-ups and small to medium enterprises (SME).
The programme, which is run by the Fintech Corridor and supported by Belfast City Council, will provide a range of support including mentorship, access to micro-credentials, an investor ecosystem, networking opportunities and more.
The types of Fintech Support Programme activities and services include:
- Networking opportunities: Events, workshops, and conferences where Fintech companies can connect with a diverse ecosystem from startup to multinational, potential investors, and industry leaders.
- Mentorship and guidance: Participants will receive mentorship from industry experts, entrepreneurs, and seasoned professionals to navigate the Fintech landscape and refine their business models.
- Access to technology and tools: Participants gain access to technology platforms, software development resources, and other tools necessary for building their Fintech solutions.
- Regulatory support: Guidance on compliance with financial regulations and navigating the legal environment is often included, helping start-ups avoid pitfalls in a heavily regulated industry.
- Programmes and partnerships: Programme facilitated partnerships with established financial institutions to allow start-ups to test their solutions in real-world environments.
