On 2 April 2024, we changed to RingGo for cashless parking.
When using our charged car parks, you should download the RingGo app or register online at the RingGo website (link opens in new window). This allows payment for parking with a credit or debit card, rather than cash. For cashless car park queries, call RingGo on 0203 046 0010.
You can also opt out of SMS notifications on the RingGo app so as not to incur charges. Find out how to opt out (link opens in new window).
From April 2024, contactless payments are available in these car parks:
All charged car parks (except Corporation Square, Corporation Street and Smithfield) are open and free to use outside of charged hours.
You can still pay with cash at all the machines in our charged car parks.
We formed a consortium with Ards and North Down, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Derry City and Strabane, Fermanagh and Omagh, Lisburn and Castlereagh, Mid Ulster and Newry, Mourne and Down councils to deliver enforcement in our car parks.
Enforcement is carried out by Marston Holdings Ltd with some changes:
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is not responsible for off-street parking enforcement in our car parks.
You can find information about on-street car parking on nidirect (link opens in new window).
All of our car parks are free to use on these dates (or the allocated bank holiday):

You can watch this video to find out how the Pay-by-Plate car parks work (link opens in new window).
The Blue Badge scheme helps you park closer to your destination if you have mobility problems.
An accessible parking bay is a reserved space on the public road for use by Blue Badge holders only. In some circumstances you can apply for a bay near your home or work.
