Eco-Arcade Co-design Workshops with National Trust
Artists Robin Price and Johanna Leech have been working together with Belfast’s coder dojos to create interactive laser arcade games featuring local species affected by climate change. These co-designed games will finally be playable on the sides of buildings (The Mac & The Ulster Museum) by the public in the Winter of 2024.
Working with ecologists and the National Trust, the project encourages young people to consider game ideas around ecological themes will help platform ideas around the climate crisis and local wildlife.
We don’t know what these games will look like yet but imagine a laser version of the Nokia classic 'snake' that eats cars and poops trees designed by school children, only better!
