Belfast Learning Festival 2025

Belfast Learning Festival takes place from 9 to 13 April 2025. The festival theme in 2025 is Creating Connections. We want to grow opportunities for residents to meet new people, discover fresh ideas and find different ways to learn in Belfast. As a UNESCO City of Learning, we want to put people at the centre of learning.

We’re inviting organisations in Belfast to support the Belfast Learning Festival by providing an event or activity.

How groups can get involved

If your group would like to host a learning event or activity, there are two ways to get involved:

• apply for a small grant to run an event
• submit an established learning event to the festival programme

Apply for a small grant

Does your organisation or group have an idea for a learning event or activity in Belfast? Would you like to grow and develop an existing event or activity? We're offering a small grant scheme for the Belfast Learning Festival.

The grant scheme is open to constituted, not-for-profit organisations based in Belfast. To ask for an application form and guidance notes, email [email protected].

The closing date for applications is Friday 20 December 2024 at 12 noon.

Submit an existing event or activity to the festival programme

Does your organisation or group offer learning activities? Can your learning activities take place between 9 to 13 April 2025? Increase awareness by adding the details to our online festival programme.
