Woman convicted after dog attack on another dog

A Belfast woman has been sentenced at Belfast Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 10 September 2024, following her conviction for an offence involving a dog attacking another dog

Belfast City Council took the prosecution against Sandra Flynn of Mersey Street, Belfast.

The prosecution was taken after reports that Ms Flynn’s English Bull Terrier type dog had attacked and fatally injured a Jack Russel Terrier, at Mersey Street, Belfast on Wednesday 29 May 2024.  

Ms Flynn who pleaded guilty to the offence received a conditional discharge for 12 months and required to pay £106 legal and court costs.
