Book a ticket for a special film screening of Rory Gallagher live at the Ulster Hall in 1974.
Rory Gallagher was renowned for his soulful playing and dynamic performances. He established himself as a trailblazer in Irish music, sold more than 30 million records and produced iconic albums including 'Deuce', 'Live in Europe', and 'Irish Tour ’74'.
He recorded 'Back On My Stomping Ground' in 1974. This song shared his love for Belfast, his spiritual musical home. Belfast was the springboard for his international career. He performed regularly at the Ulster Hall during the troubles when few other acts would.
The Irish Tour '74 film was filmed in the Ulster Hall by Tony Palmer. The film depicts a sense of peace, embodied by Ireland's first rockstar live on stage in his home country.
