Join us to hear about our free employment academies, including Business Services, Fibre Installation, Childminding, Customer Services, Social Care, Transport and Logistics, Working with Children and Working at Sea – as well as academies delivered in Irish.

This event is for Belfast residents who are unemployed or underemployed and who want to find out more about our Employment Academies. Attendees will learn about academy programme duration, course content and details of available employability supports. You'll also be able to listen to our partner employers outlining the available jobs in each sector and the associated benefits and challenges, to help make informed choices about what’s most suitable for you.

Gateway to Choices (G2C) advisors will also be there to provide guidance on the best way into employment or retraining for a new career. They can help residents decide on the academy that’s best suited to them, or they can signpost to other support services available across the city.
