Consultation
This Draft Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) Report has been prepared primarily for the purposes of consultation. All comments are welcome and will be accepted in any format, with the consultation period lasting for a period of 14 weeks from Thursday 22 August 2024 to midnight on Thursday 28 November 2024.
During this consultation period, face-to-face meetings will be made available for local community groups, Irish language representative groups, Elected Members of Belfast City Council, Council staff, language stakeholder groups and the public. The Council will make its Irish Language Stakeholders’ Forum, the Ulster Scots Stakeholder Forum, Migrant Forum, Disability Advisory Panel and Sign Language Users’ Forum aware of the consultation and will consider further meetings upon request.
