Anna Kernahan, a passionate youth activist from Fridays for Future Northern Ireland, will look at the crucial role young people have in the climate movement and the urgent actions needed to safeguard our planet.
The closing event of the festival will dive into the the power of storytelling, with a discussion with artist Oliver Jeffers, Mercury Price, Ivor Novello and Emmy-nominated Hannah Peel,co- founder of Eden Project Sir Tim Smit and Chief Executive of Unboxed and Hull City of Culture Martin Green, in which they delve into how creativity and the arts can spark bold ideas and positive environmental chance.
In-between these two fascinating discussions, there will be storytelling and reading, Story Soup at Brink!, Sustainable Arts in Action talks, panel discussions on queer art and censorship, and the chance for kids - big and small - to create miniature representations of their ideal works in the Power Plants work shop, and much, much more.
