Policing committee funding grants

Applications are now open for District Policing and Community Safety Partnership

(DPCSP) Policing Committee grants for North, South and East Belfast.

Objectives

These grants aim to build positive relationships between the community, the police and local groups. Projects should also have a clear community safety focus and be able to evidence how they will increase:

  • Confidence in police
  • Engagement with police
  • The likelihood that people will report crime
  • Community safety locally

How to apply

Policing Committee Grants of up to £2,000 are available for groups who meet the criteria outlined within our guidance notes. Up to two grants can be provided per group, per year, however the projects must be different from each other.

These are rolling applications, with no closing date. The availability of funding will be reviewed by DPCSPs throughout the year, and the website updated accordingly.

Applications must be submitted at least six weeks prior to the starting date for delivery of the project to allow officers time to score your submission and convene a meeting of the approval panel.
