Belfast Employment Academies

Training and a guaranteed job interview to help you get a job.

Belfast Employment Academies provide specialist training to help you get a job or become your own boss.

We’re working with a range of employers from across Belfast to fill around 200 posts this autumn and winter.

To be eligible you must be a Belfast City Council resident and currently out of work or working fewer than 16 hours per week.

Employment academy information sessions

In January 2019 we’ll be holding four information sessions where people can find out more about what’s on offer. These are drop-in sessions, so you don’t need to register to attend. The sessions will include information on:

  • the types of jobs available
  • how to apply and what’s involved in the training
  • benefits entitlement calculations, and
  • careers advice.
