Coronavirus update

In response to Coronavirus, Cecil Ward is closed for Belfast Planning Services. Although we are reducing our services, we will progress current applications and appeals where possible.

We can’t accept new applications and any that we receive by post, will be held and progressed later.

We are responsible for delivering planning functions in Belfast. This involves:

From here you can pick up an application form, submit a completed application, pay fees, check the status of an application and ask to see our duty planning officer for general planning advice.

Regionally significant planning applications 

The Department for Infrastructure has responsibility for dealing with planning applications that have regional significance.
